According to USP 40 method, ascorbic acid should be analyzed using a column packed with L39. It is necessary for the system suitability to satisfy tailing factor of ≤ 1.6, the theoretical plate number of ≥ 3,500 and relative standard deviation (RSD) of ≤ 1.6%. It was confirmed that RSpak DM-614 satisfies all conditions for ascorbic acid analysis.
