Analysis of Anions (SI-36 4D) Using Potassium Hydroxide
Please use this column with a suppressor-type ion chromatography system.
IC SI-36 4D is a column for anion analysis using potassium hydroxide aqueous solution as eluent. With columns using carbonate aqueous solution as eluent, sulfate ion elutes after phosphate ion. But using SI-36 4D, sulfate ion is eluted faster than monovalent bromide ions. In the case of columns using carbonate aqueous solution as eluent. Adding some organic solvent to the eluent is necessary to separate sulfite and sulfate ions. On the other hand, SI-36 4D does not require an organic solvent to achieve separation. Under gradient conditions, phosphate ions are eluted within 15 minutes, the analysis time is shortened.
