According to USP 40 method, the assay of trehalose and the analysis of related substances in it should be analyzed using a column packed with L58. It is necessary for the system suitability to satisfy resolution (Rs) of trehalose and maltotriose of ≥ 1.5 and relative standard deviation (RSD) of peak area of trehalose ≤ 2.0%. It was confirmed that SUGAR KS-801 satisfies all conditions.
