According to USP 40 method, the measurement of apparent weight-average molecular weight (Mw) and polydispersity of polyethylene glycol 3350 should be analyzed using a column packed with L37. The value of apparent weight-average molecular weight is 3015–3685 g/mol. Polydispersity is 90%–110% of the value stated on the label or within the range indicated on the label. It was confirmed that the Mw was about 3360 and was within the acceptance criteria. when USP Polyethylene Glycol 3350 RS was analyzed using OHpak SB-803 HQ.
