Question
I am looking for more information about the 50 4E and 40 3E columns. Other than gel size, resolution, and flow rate, are there any differences between the two columns? For example, does the 40 3E column need to be replaced more frequently because it clogs faster?

Answer
As you have mentioned, it is a general tendency that smaller particle gel column may clog faster than larger particle gel columns.
Although we are afraid that it is difficult to say how different the column life of NH2P-50 4E and NH2P-40 3E may, as column life is highly influenced by the type of samples going to be analyzed. If you are concerned about your sample being adsorbed on the column, it can be reduced by using the corresponding guard column, also our NH2P column can be cleaned with basic solvent as it may remove adsorved acidic components.
