Question
What solvents are compatible with SUGAR KS-series columns? I am mostly wondering about alcohols (methanol, ethanol), acids (sulfuric, hydrochloric), organics (DMSO, DMF), and salts (0.1 M sodium nitrate).

Answer
The recommended solvents are water or 0.001 M sodium hydroxide.
They can be also used with solvents containing methanol, ethanol, or ACN.
Maximum 20% for KS-801~803, 50% for KS-804~806.

Presence of H+ can remove the Na+ ligand modified on the gel, so I would not recommend using acid as mobile.
Use of Na+ salt buffers should not be a problem.

Below is the operation manual for KS columns (English is in back half). You may check the details.

Use of non-polar organic solvent should be avoided.
If you need to work on DMSO or DMF, I would recommend you consider our GPC columns or SB-806M can be used with 100%DMF.
