our prospective customer that was interested in Shodex IC columns vs. Dionex is going to stick with Dionex because they are about 25% less at list.

Any thoughts? We’re willing to give a deep discount but if you think we have any advantages or a better approach, let me know.

Is your customer considering purchasing a Dionex AS14 column?
If so, what we can say about the advantage of Shodex SI-90 4E over AS14 are:
(1) Separation of F- from the water dip.
(2) Small carbonate system peak.
Please take a look at attached pdf (Column D is the AS14 column…it’s just because Japanese companies don’t like to make comparison data public)
I hope the two points I mentioned attracts the customer.
