Question
I have a customer who is looking for a Strygel shipping solvent DMF Column. He needs to analyze Polymers and acrylic fibers by GPC, Can I use the following ones as equivalents ?
My concern is his method request 85 C but I see max temp for this one’s 60 Deg-C

Answer
KD is the column series for DMF solvent.
However, I cannot recommend them to be used at 85oC. Is it necessary for the customer to use such a high temperature to dissolve his sample?

Options will be –
1. Can he use 60 oC? -> KD series.
2. Can he use THF with elevated temperature to dissolve his sample -> HT or UT series.

I do not have an information in my hand that if HT or UT series column can be used with DMF – which I will find out and let you know this possibility.
But if KD@60oC is possible, that will be a better option.
Also do you know the MW of his target? The solvent applicability of HT/UT column may depends on the pore size. So if you know this, please let me know.
