Question
He wants an application for hydrophobic proteins with a molecular weight of less than 20,000 and 25000 Daltons.
The columns is for the separation and purification.
The eluent is in Methanol and chloroform….

Since the eluent is chloroform and the size is 25,000 the column should be GPC K 802.5?

Answer
K series cannot be used with methanol.
Please find out what exact solvent that the customer is going to use to dissolve the sample.
If they need to switch between methanol and chloroform, an option will be GF series.
Also I’d like to know the MW differences of the compounds that they are trying to separate.
