using ASTM D6379 (method using amino column, heptane as eluent with RI detector) can NH2P be used for this purpose?

it is not under manufactures guaranteed use, however they have used hexane/ isopropanol =98/2 to separate nonylphenolethoxylate successfully. So it should be possible to use heptanes as an eluent, although I am afraid that we do not have an experience separating aromatic compounds under this condition.

Does D6379 mention about the base of column packing material? I’d like to clarify that our NH2P is a polymer based column. we do have a siclica based amino column (Silica 5NH, function group: aminopropyl) if you are interested in.
