Question
Does it come with the container/compartment that stores the guard column to be put in line with the NH2P-50 4E column? Sorry if that is confusing. I have seen previously a type of “housing” for the guard column that stays in line and you can change out the guard column as needed more easily.

Also, I have read some pre-treatment procedures for the analysis of saccharides contained in foods using an Asahipak NH2P-50 4E but do you have any pretreatment protocols for the analysis of soil saccharides?

Answer
Our guard column is just like an analytical column, but small.
It is not for NH2P, but please take a look at attached picture showing one of the guard columns.
You will need a connector like the one shown in the picture to connect to the NH2P-50 4E column.

I’m sorry we don’t have sample prep information for soil. Do you have an extraction protocol? If it is an extract, I believe it is pretty clean.. so only requires filtration.
