- We track mostly glucose and xylose in my group, but others track cellobiose, sucrose, fructose, galactose, arabinose and mannose. The column works fine for what we do for the most part but the fact that arabinose and mannose practically co-elute makes it difficult to close mass balance of sugars when data calls for it

Would you please advice if SB columns can be used with acetone?
Answer
Do you know which SB column is your customer using?
We don’t have exact information for acetone usage, but based on the properties of acetone, I think similar condition as methanol will be applied.

If the customer needs to use 100% acetone, I would recommend using GF series instead.
