- We track mostly glucose and xylose in my group, but others track cellobiose, sucrose, fructose, galactose, arabinose and mannose. The column works fine for what we do for the most part but the fact that arabinose and mannose practically co-elute makes it difficult to close mass balance of sugars when data calls for it

SC1211 column gel; it is a styrene divinylbenzene copolymer base, modified with Ca2+ ligand. Sulfo group might be considered as a spacer here. In order to modify the calcium ion. Do you have any idea how much dehydration you are expected?
The separation of sugar alcohol can be optimized by changing the ACN concentration.
