Question
I would like to check the availability of SEC columns for investigation of enzyme degradation products of crosslinked guar gum (polysaccharide) with average MW at 2 million KDa. Please recommend one or more suitable for analytical work of this reaction.

Answer
I would like to recommend our SB series column.
This is a polyhydroxymethacrylate base GFC column suitable for aqueous mobile phase conditions.

For your molecular weight range, the choices are between SB-807, SB-806M, SB-806 and/or combination of these.
Since our reference standard is pululan (straight chain polysaccharide) most likely they have bigger size than guar gum. Do you know what will be the maximum MW of your original compound and minimum MW that you are expected to see? Depending on that range, I would like to suggest you most suitable option. Also please let me know what solvent you will be using to prepare your sample.
