- We track mostly glucose and xylose in my group, but others track cellobiose, sucrose, fructose, galactose, arabinose and mannose. The column works fine for what we do for the most part but the fact that arabinose and mannose practically co-elute makes it difficult to close mass balance of sugars when data calls for it

They would like to know if this column can be used with dichloromethane and do you know if it would work with standard Restek 32042
Answer
End fittings are No.10-32 UNF type (waters’ type) so if Restek 32042 takes that there shouldn’t be a problem.
However, usable mobile phase we state is only ethylacetate/cyclohexane =1/9-5/5
Or with EV-2000AC, acetone/cyclohexane=1/9-5/5.
