Which Shodex KW columns are compatible with an Agilent HP1100 HPLC system?

Answer

All Shodex KW columns are designed for use on conventional HPLC systems, including the Agilent HP1100. No special hardware modifications are required.

• Standard KW columns (KW-802.5, KW-803, KW-804) are fully compatible.

• High-performance semi-micro KW columns (KW-402.5-4F, KW-403-4F, KW-404-4F, KW-405-4F) are also compatible, and may be preferred when higher sensitivity and resolution are needed.

• Guard columns (KW-G 6B, KW-400G-4A) are available for system protection.

If using a capillary HPLC configuration, compatibility may be limited, and specialized narrow-bore columns would be required.
