I would like to get more information about your gel filtration columns especially the PROTEIN KW402.5-4F. I’m interested in using HPLC to purify my proteins of 30 kDa, 50 kDa and 80 kDa. The HPLC pressure is normally high, so I need a column that can wityhstand high pressure. Thank you.

As you may have noticed, we have PROTEIN KW series column in two different dimensions.
KW-800 series, 8.0×300 mm and KW400 series, 4.6x250mm.
Generally speaking, KW400 series are packed with smaller gels than KW-800 series, making it provides higher resolution. In order to fully obtain the benefit of KW400 series, it requires to have semi-micro HPLC system or a system supports consistent flow rate of ~0.2 mL/min. If you are using a regular HPLC system, we would recommend KW-800 series instead. Also in order to obtain high resolution, recommended injection volume/load is smaller than KW-800 series. Would you please tell me how much protein are you trying to purify? Regarding the maximum pressure; for KW-802.5 it is 5.0MPa and KW402.5-4F is 10MPa.
