Question
I am looking into your previous inquiries; I do have one answer so far. The chromatograms with the atypical peak shape had been flushed with 50% acetonitrile accidently and the atypical peaks were noticed immediately after. (This makes sense as your documentation warns that no more than 20% organic solvent can be used). I will look into your other questions and points, I think they will be very helpful in making sure we get the most out of your columns.

I do have one other quick question about your available guard columns. It looks like there are 3 that can be used for the SP column group but only one that contains the Pb ions (SP-G); is this the one that would be most appropriate for the SP0810 column?

Answer
Your column may still be alright even though it was exposed to 50% acetonitrile. You should flush the column with copious amounts of water and use the regeneration procedure. Then check the column performance at that time.

The corresponding guard column for the SP0810 is the SP-G. The other guard columns are for the corresponding analytical column i.e.: SH-G is the guard for SH1011, etc.

Please let me know if you have additional questions about the SP columns.
