Thank you for your response. We have interest in one of your columns as detailed in the attachment. My question is what does it mean by the maximum usable flow rate – what will happen if I use a flow rate than the limit?

Answer
Flow rates above the maximum usable flow rate may compress the packing gel due to higher than the maximum pressure of the column. If the gel becomes compressed it may create a dead volume in the column. The dead volume may distort the peaks or you may see decrease resolution.

What flow rate are you looking to run your analysis at? What is the application you are looking to run on the ODP-50 4D? I may be able to help in your column selection if I know a little more about the application/conditions.
