Question
I see that you have some new SEC columns for use in separating proteins. I am very interested in your KW403-4F or KW402.5-4F. Can these columns be used on a standard HPLC system (i.e. an Agilent 1100)? I am also interested in columns that tend to not bind proteins, as we have had problems with that in the past. Perhaps your polymer columns would be better for this.

Do you have any program where I can test the columns before buying, or exchange them if another one would work better?

Answer
KW400 series column can be used with standard HPLC system, but may not show much benefit over our standard (KW-800 series) type.
It will be more effective if you have semi-micro system with small tubing id.
Please take a look at below technical notebook for KW400 series, especially on page 6, Optimization of HPLC system.

We may be able to offer 30 days trial column (You can test for 30 days, if it works we will invoice, if not we ask for return). However, for this, we will need to ask you details of your analysis and I understand some companies this cannot be done. If you can share the project information; would you please tell me the names (types) of your protein samples, the columns you tried previously and the conditions? Thank you.
