- We track mostly glucose and xylose in my group, but others track cellobiose, sucrose, fructose, galactose, arabinose and mannose. The column works fine for what we do for the most part but the fact that arabinose and mannose practically co-elute makes it difficult to close mass balance of sugars when data calls for it

I would appreciate your assistance with the following issue–a while ago you found a Japanese paper describing a method for simultaneous identification of neutral sugars and uronic acids using the Shodex Asahipak NH2 column with an ACN-phosphoric acid-water mobile phase and RI detection. The abstract was in english but most of the paper was in Japanese. I believe it had enough information for us to try out the method, but I have since misplaced my copy of the paper.
